One of the concepts I came up with early in my days at LibreDigital was that discovery for electronic items, especially content on publisher websites, demanded a different sequence than traditional print sales.

The goal of XML is to provide publishers with Agile Content. “Agile,” when used as an adjective, is defined as: 1) able to move quickly and easily and 2) quick-witted or shrewd.

A note from Craig:
Hi and thanks for looking at our blog. I've been thinking about doing a blog for a couple of years. I was always hesitant as there are several great blogs dealing with digital publishing. Those tend to be business impact oriented with little given to the practicalities of how XML is really applied to publishing solutions for maximum benefit. That is the niche I seek to serve - targeting in on the most pragmatic applications, solutions, etc of XML and related technologies to the publishing enterprise. I'll stay true to that, and point to interesting posts by our peers and comment on same. I hope you will comment and subscribe!
Also, I am a relative neophyte at blogging. Will my posts be persuasive? Drive comment and community on this niche? All things I look forward to learning. Please feel free to drop me a note directly with any words of wisdom.
